I wanted to make just a messy, seasonal dessert style recipe for the challenge. Balancing an all Flavorah recipe can be tricky since they are so strong. I went through 7 version of this to find the right balance for the profile and honestly I am just glad that I can taste anything after this!
Two ingredients I really wanted to make work were pumpkin spice and granola. Pumpkin spice was just a bit too much for this recipe and granola was just too cooked and hard to work with. I ended up abandoning my original plan and added in Flavorah's best flavor, apple filling. Added in a touch of Avocado to give some weight to the maple bar and some dark gooeyness with the caramel and butterscotch. This came out as described, a sticky mess!
