**Coolcumber (Flavorah) 0.25% (8-20-25)** -- FIRST one on deck from this newly released series from Flavorah. Thanks out to @Bryson from Flavorah in warning me that my initial 1.0% might be TOO high for this Ultra Concentrated, and I re-mixed/steeped down to 0.25%. I might JUST be the right skeptic to test this one, as I rarely cucumber, and I do NOT like cooling, and this one had BOTH.
Well, I can tell you Bryson was right, and even down at 0.25% it was VERY full, and tasted very good. Not weak, watery, or in any way diminished. The cucumber profile on this one was VERY good, hyper accurate, and almost approaching Medicine Flower territory. Clean, crisp, and very natural tasting, and with a mix of both the fleshy body, and the darker skin. No seeds, but frankly, that was about the only thing you didn't get. What was interesting was it had a certain fullness to it, almost a richness which gave it some weight and was unexpected.
The cooling profile was actually done very well, and it was layered in expertly, so as to ACCENT the fresh cucumber, without overpowering it, or overshadowing it. It was hard to tell but I think I WAS getting a light mint from the cooling, but it was very light in the mix overall. Wow, color me impressed, as I did NOT think I would like this one. 3 testers later, hehe, I was wrong. Fresh, juicy, full bodied (flesh and skin), accurate were my big take-aways on the cuke, and just perfectly accented by the cooling, with a light mint touch. At times I wondered if there might be just a hint of a light vanilla cream in there giving it some body and a slight smoothness, but I couldn't decide. At 0.25% it was great, and sweetness was about 3 ticks south of mid-level.
I went into this thinking I'd surely find some issues, complaints, or wishes, but I just kept coming up short. Flavorah really nailed both profiles with this one, and I couldn't find anything to nit-pick. Coolcumber is exactly what you got with this one, and I teetered back and forth on the rating and finally gave in, and released the Kraken. **10/10**.
